Bim Survey - Disused Royal Mail Sorting Office, Northampton

Approximately 300 individual scans were recorded on site using one of our state of the art 3D laser scanners. Each scan was accurately coordinated and registered to produce a complete ‘pointcloud’ dataset which was then used to generate an Autodesk Revit model of the redundant building. Our 3D Technicians worked collaboratively to model more efficiently and enable a timely delivery of the 3D model and extracted 2D CAD plans.
